Big Data Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain or Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; includes 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Develop a data analytics project focused on threat detection and fraud prevention.
• Investigate security alerts and events and analyze data from SIEM platforms.
• Identify patterns and anomalies related to cybersecurity threats and fraud.
• Define monitoring controls and thresholds and design data models.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical and monitoring solutions.

Requirements

• Background and interest in data analytics, cybersecurity, threat detection, and fraud prevention.
• Experience or knowledge in SQL and databases.
• Experience or knowledge with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience or knowledge with reporting and dashboarding tools such as Qlik Sense.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cybersecurity and fraud prevention environments.
• Knowledge of the financial sector, data governance and data quality, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
• Knowledge of threat classification frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Cloud, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention certifications, including CISSP or ACFE.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Catalan at B2 level.
