Junior Global Payroll Specialist

hirify.global develops and publishes mobile, PC, console, social, and online games for a global audience, operating across 15 countries and 22 studios.

What you will do

• Support monthly payroll processing across multiple countries by coordinating inputs and deadlines with internal teams and external payroll providers.
• Prepare and validate payroll data for joiners, leavers, salary changes, benefits, and absences.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve routine payroll issues, respond to queries, and escalate complex cases.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation, and audit trails while handling confidential employee information.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, audits, month-end activities, and People Operations projects.
• Document and improve payroll processes, including systems, automation, approved AI-enabled tools, implementations, and integrations.

Requirements

• Around 1–2 years of experience in payroll administration or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of payroll processes and employee data management, with willingness to learn payroll requirements across different countries.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, including the ability to manage deadlines and check data accurately.
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with numerical information.
• Clear communication, collaboration, sound judgement with confidential information, and a proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and process improvement.

Nice to have

• Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related subject, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in an international environment, familiarity with payroll or HR systems, or exposure to outsourced payroll providers.
• Interest in automation, data analysis, and payroll technology.
