Information Security Consultant (NIST CSF Assessment)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź, with 2–3 office days per week

Salary: 1,000–1,200 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Review and update the NIST CSF assessment workbook and data collection methodology for historical comparability and future assessment cycles.
• Plan and coordinate assessment workshops, kick-off meetings, and stakeholder sessions involving approximately 70 participants.
• Facilitate workshops with security, risk, business, and other organisational stakeholders to collect assessment data and evidence.
• Document, consolidate, validate, and analyse workshop information and justify cybersecurity maturity ratings.
• Support calibration and review activities to ensure consistent and accurate assessment outcomes.
• Prepare technical assessments, executive reports, presentations, findings, risks, and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Information Security.
• Hands-on experience conducting NIST CSF maturity assessments in the financial-services sector.
• Strong understanding of Information Security, cybersecurity governance, risk management, and related industry best practices.
• Ability to independently facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, including the ability to process complex information and justify maturity ratings.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Professional English communication skills, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Information Security, Risk Management, or Business Continuity Management, such as CISM, ISO 27001, or ISO 22301.
