Junior Information Security Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote, Ukraine or Warsaw, Poland; cities listed include Kyiv and Lviv.

What you will do

• Manage user access, including granting, changing, revoking rights, access reviews, and controlled permissions.
• Support ISMS, PIMS, and BCMS by collecting evidence and preparing for certifications and audits.
• Operate vulnerability scanning, anti-phishing, and security awareness tools; triage findings and filter false positives.
• Maintain asset and information security risk registers.
• Support incident response and investigations.
• Write and update information security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Information Security experience, or relevant professional education with hands-on practice.
• Experience writing or updating security policies and procedures.
• Understanding of least privilege, RBAC, MFA/SSO, and access reviews.
• Hands-on experience with at least one security tool: vulnerability scanner, IAM, phishing simulations, or XDR.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
• Ownership, attention to detail, accountability, teamwork, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Participation in security audits.
• Familiarity with ISO 22301, ISO 27701, GDPR, or DORA.
