Atlassian Security Specialist

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

What you will do

• Conduct security audits of Atlassian Cloud environments, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and customer portals.
• Review Confluence integrations, Atlassian Marketplace applications, APIs, and third-party system integrations.
• Assess identity and access management, permissions, data exposure, and confidentiality, integrity, and availability risks.
• Evaluate Atlassian Rovo and identify AI-related security risks.
• Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and governance gaps across configurations and security controls.
• Prepare evidence-based audit reports and remediation roadmaps with prioritized findings, risk assessments, and practical recommendations.

Requirements

• Experience in information security, security audits, and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST, or related security frameworks and standards.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud security and configuration reviews.
• Knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence integrations.
• Experience assessing third-party applications, APIs, and system integrations.
• Understanding of identity and access management, permissions, and data exposure risks.
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
• Good command of English at minimum B2 level.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying GenAI in structured SDLC workflows, including prompt patterns or tool integrations.
• Interest in AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development.
