PLC SW Engineer (Conveyor / Product Integration)

Location: Algés, Portugal; mixed Home Office / On-site work with approximately 50% travel to customer projects

What you will do

• Implement and commission PLC software for international sorter and conveyor technology projects.
• Use an existing software library to integrate PLC standard modules into project solutions.
• Apply the engineering toolchain throughout project implementation.
• Support commissioning on customer systems through integration and customer acceptance in line with company standards.

Requirements

• Electrical engineering training or a master’s qualification with professional experience, or a degree in electrical engineering and automation.
• Advanced specialist knowledge and several years of experience in TIA software project planning.
• Many years of experience with software project planning and commissioning for automation systems and fail-safe applications.
• Several years of experience with technological logistics systems or industrial automation systems.
• Very good knowledge of the SIMATIC S7-TIA and Drives product range.
• Proficiency in Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, AS-i Bus, and CAN Bus.
• Very good English skills, intercultural competence, and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to travel to projects for approximately 50% of the time.
