What you will do
- Implement and commission PLC software for cross-belt sorters on international projects using an existing software library.
- Describe planned software functionality and coordinate interfaces with third parties during project design.
- Integrate PLC standard modules and apply the engineering tool chain within projects.
- Support the further development of project planning processes and the software library in cooperation with the development department.
- Accompany commissioning on customer systems through integration and customer acceptance according to company standards.
Requirements
- Training as an electrical engineer or master electrical engineer with professional experience, or a degree in electrical engineering and automation.
- Experience with software implementation and commissioning of sorter systems.
- Advanced specialist knowledge and several years of experience in TIA software project planning.
- Several years of experience in software project planning and commissioning for automation systems and fail-safe applications.
- Several years of experience with technological logistics systems or automation systems in industry.
- Very good knowledge of the SIMATIC hardware product range, S7-TIA, and drives.
- Proficiency with Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, AS-I Bus, and CAN Bus.
- Very good English skills, intercultural competence, and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to travel to projects for approximately 50% of the time.
