Learning and Development Designer (E-learning)

Location: Paris, France. The position is based in Paris and is open to nationals of hirify.global member countries and FATF member jurisdictions.

Monthly salary starts at €6,008.38 plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt from French income tax.

The hirify.global is an international organisation working with governments and policy makers to develop evidence-based standards and solutions to economic, social and environmental challenges; the role supports the FATF Training Institute and its AML/CFT/CPF capacity-building mission.

What you will do

• Design the FATF’s e-learning curriculum and contribute to in-person and blended training materials.
• Apply learning theory and coordinate with FATF policy experts and member-country representatives.
• Create visually engaging videos, quizzes, storyboards, simulations, animations, and interactive learning activities.
• Develop assessment mechanisms, analyse user-experience data, and update training materials based on findings.
• Collaborate with hirify.global and international-organisation peers, including UNODC, IMF, World Bank, and the Egmont Group.
• Contribute to graphic design for FATF publications and external communications on an ad hoc basis, depending on background.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in e-learning, instructional design, instructional theory, educational technology, adult education, multimedia design, or a relevant discipline.
• At least three years of experience as an e-learning developer; five years is preferred.
• Experience in lesson and curriculum planning, storyboard creation, and applying Agile and ADDIE models to educational materials.
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering learning solutions using game-based learning, video, micro-learning, simulations, and immersive scenarios with multiple branching elements.
• Experience developing complex interactions using variables, learning activities, and animations.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate 360, and use of AI in designing learning materials.
• Experience managing projects with stakeholders from different backgrounds, including subject-matter experts with limited pedagogical-engineering knowledge.
• Experience working in a multicultural team or international organisation.
• Fluency in one hirify.global official language, English or French, and knowledge of the other with a commitment to reach a good working level.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish.
