Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Transformation (Fintech)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; at least 3 days in the office required

What you will do

• Shape Indonesia’s multi-year strategy by translating market, client, industry, regulatory, competitive, and performance insights into priorities.
• Lead strategic initiatives from opportunity definition and business-case development through funding, governance, implementation, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate the Innovation & Market Development program with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify and size growth opportunities across underserved segments, innovative credit models, domestic, cross-border, and B2B payments.
• Build relationships with financial institutions, industry associations, ecosystem partners, and external delivery counterparts, including leading commercial and partnership negotiations.
• Develop governance, scorecards, leadership materials, and performance insights while coordinating with Asia Pacific and other market strategy teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 or more years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, market development, or a related role.
• Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, technology, or another partnership-driven industry is advantageous.
• Ability to structure and lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from concept through execution, including independently negotiating and closing commercial or partnership agreements.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including market analysis, opportunity sizing, business-case development, and financial or commercial modeling.
• Track record of turning analysis into practical recommendations and driving them toward decisions, implementation, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and executive presence, including clear presentations, simplifying complex topics, and engaging with senior leaders and external industry stakeholders.
• Ability to influence without formal authority, build trust, and align stakeholders across functions and organizations.
• High standards of integrity, curiosity, ownership, attention to detail, and a practical, collaborative working style.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong written and spoken English and Indonesian communication skills.

• Experience with AI-enabled productivity, research, or analytical tools.
