Sr. Engineer - Cloud (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote

Base salary: $140,000–$220,000 per year for U.S. candidates, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement features and product enhancements for Falcon Complete.
• Build products and services that help security analysts triage, remediate, and prevent cyberattacks.
• Develop reliable, performant, distributed, and scalable solutions using microservices and cloud-native technologies.
• Improve service monitoring, observability, and operational reliability.
• Automate operational workflows and reduce team workload.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Professional experience with at least one of Golang, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java, plus willingness to use Golang.
• Experience working within existing software applications and architectures.
• Practical experience building web services, data pipelines, and microservices at scale.
• Operational knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and graph databases, as well as messaging systems such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Linux programming fundamentals and experience with distributed, scalable systems.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, cloud observability tools, Docker, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from conception to execution and translating high-level feature requests into concrete engineering requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work successfully in a highly asynchronous and remote environment.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Experience building with modern AI technologies or developing products in the security domain.
• Experience with high-level design and architecture.
