Manager Technology Architecture

Location: Mechelen, Belgium. Hybrid work is available, with office presence required at least three days a week during the first six months; remote work from home is available on other days.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow the Technology Architecture team while setting direction and supporting architects' development.
• Shape hirify.global's technology landscape vision and personally lead key architecture initiatives from concept through impact.
• Own technology governance through the Technology Radar, Technology Cockpit, and Architectural Guardrails.
• Steer cloud modernization, platform evolution, and the embedding of agentic capabilities.
• Drive technology decisions and align experts, stakeholders, delivery partners, leadership, and teams.
• Ensure enterprise-wide architecture principles and guardrails are understood and applied across strategic and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading or coaching technical teams and developing people.
• Hands-on architecture expertise and the ability to shape a technology landscape vision while engaging with detailed technical work.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into architectural direction.
• Proven experience in enterprise, solution, or technology architecture within complex environments.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for executive and technical audiences.
• Ability to simplify complexity and make technology choices tangible.
• Collaborative approach to architecture, leadership, people, and systems.
