У роли понятная специализированная область, актуальные задачи по симуляции и автоматизации и хороший пакет льгот; требования к гражданству Великобритании и допуску к секретной информации заметно ограничивают круг тех, кто может её занять.
Senior Simulation Engineer (Electronic Warfare/Simulation): Developing high-fidelity synthetic-range models and automated test environments for electronic warfare trials with an accent on virtual and constructive environments, live hardware integration, and electromagnetic-spectrum modelling. Focus on integrating real-time software and hardware models, generating coherent visible-light, infrared, and radio-frequency scenarios, and ensuring repeatable simulation runs.
Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom; permanent, full-time, on-site
Salary: £50,000–£65,000 per year
Company
Join hirify.global's Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group, an 80+ person group of engineers, scientists, and former military personnel delivering operational support and synthetic trials for government and industry partners.
What you will do
Develop spectrum-wide scene-generation and behavioural models for high-fidelity electronic warfare simulations.
Integrate virtual and constructive players with live hardware models to build realistic synthetic-range testbeds.
Model visible-light, infrared, and radio-frequency interactions while keeping scene-generation tools coherent.
Develop and use automated, repeatable simulation runs for high-importance synthetic trials.
Deliver testing against the individual requirements of government and industry partners.
Requirements
Experience writing test-automation scripts for real-time systems using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW.
Experience working in virtual or constructive environments, including software-model integration, behaviour scripting, and output synchronisation.
Experience integrating software or hardware models deployed to bespoke real-time operating systems, using ICDs or APIs to verify behaviour and timing.
Ability to solve problems methodically.
STEM degree.
Must be a UK national, eligible to work in the UK, and eligible to obtain and maintain UK Government SC-level security clearance.
Nice to have
Experience generating test harnesses for software-model interfaces including TCP/IP, UDP, JTAG, UART, or Digital IQ.
Experience developing virtual scenarios with players, terrain, atmosphere, and behaviour using commercial software such as VR Forces, MACE, VBS4, or Infinite Studio.
Familiarity with synchronisation and timing architectures.
Knowledge of network architectures and debugging issues such as packet loss, delay, and rubber-banding.
Awareness of software-development best practices including source control and unit testing.
Knowledge of electronic warfare systems.
