ETL SSIS Developer (SQL Server)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida; full-time, senior position.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise ETL pipelines using Microsoft SSIS.
• Develop production-grade T-SQL solutions, including stored procedures, functions, views, and complex queries.
• Analyze execution plans, resolve performance bottlenecks, and implement indexing and query optimization strategies.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, logging, error handling, transaction management, and database security controls.
• Apply Medallion Architecture across bronze, silver, and gold data layers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and data engineering teams, support production pipelines, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Experience with SQL query optimization, execution plan analysis, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade ETL pipelines.
• Understanding of data modeling, data transformation, data validation, and data quality management.
• Knowledge of database security, access controls, error handling, transaction management, and reliability practices.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, code reviews, structured release processes, automated testing, database version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Talend Data Integration or other enterprise ETL platforms.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture and bronze, silver, and gold processing layers.
• Experience supporting data integration solutions in banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with production monitoring, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
