Salary: $115,000–$187,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize data collection, storage, access, and analytics systems at scale.
• Create pipelines that transform raw data into usable formats for data scientists, data-centric applications, and other consumers.
• Make data accessible and secure for stakeholders while meeting service-level agreements and performance standards.
• Monitor data repositories and pipelines, resolve operational issues, and improve reliability.
• Implement orchestration and automation solutions for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to organize raw data and improve data quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of professional experience in data engineering or backend software engineering.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data query creation.
• Experience with data modeling, data migration, and ETL functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface with customers.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting AI/ML pipelines, vectorization, or embedding generation.
• Experience with data governance, access controls, or sensitive data protection.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD patterns for data workflows.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
