Communications Specialist

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in Santa Clara, California; Phoenix, Arizona; or Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. Employees split their time between on-site and off-site work.

Annual salary range: $121,390–$204,980 USD.

What you will do

• Develop and execute communications strategies supporting business priorities, technology strategy, and organizational goals.
• Translate complex business, technology, and organizational topics into clear narratives for employees and other priority audiences.
• Advise senior business and technical leaders and create executive content, including presentations, talking points, employee messages, videos, Q&A materials, and thought leadership.
• Lead communications for business transformation, organizational change, and leadership transitions while aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build scalable leader communications programs, processes, templates, and tools.
• Define and track measures of employee understanding, engagement, and communications effectiveness, using feedback and performance data to optimize results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in communications, including leadership-level strategies in a complex or technology-focused organization.
• Experience creating executive-level content, including presentations, speeches, and messaging for diverse audiences and channels.
• Experience prioritizing multiple initiatives and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience translating intricate technical concepts into concise, compelling messaging.
• Strong business acumen, sound judgment, independent working ability, and the ability to build trust with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
• A portfolio demonstrating executive and employee communications and complex business and technology storytelling.

• Advanced degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a technical discipline.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, including demonstrated experience simplifying complex ideas.
