IT Service Delivery Expert (SAP MDG)

Location: Remscheid, Germany; hybrid work, with the option to temporarily work from a country within the European Union.

Salary: Remuneration according to the NRW IG Metall collective wage agreement, including vacation pay and Christmas bonus.

What you will do

• Manage and continuously improve defined enterprise-wide data management services in line with agreed service levels.
• Analyze service performance with internal business functions and external service providers, identify optimization opportunities, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Monitor service KPIs and prepare and present transparent results to diverse stakeholders.
• Manage service reviews, escalations, and improvement initiatives to increase service satisfaction.
• Develop processes, governance structures, and service management standards with international teams.
• Contribute to the transformation, digitalization, and sustainable development of the IT service landscape.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Management, or a comparable qualification.
• More than 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Service Delivery Management, IT Service Management, or a comparable environment.
• User-level experience with master data systems such as SAP MDG.
• Knowledge of data disciplines, including data logic, master data software, and operational data management.
• Solid expertise in IT Service Management processes, service KPI analysis, improvement planning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong service orientation, analytical mindset, proactive approach, and ability to address improvement areas and gain support for necessary changes.
• Fluent English and at least B2-level German.

• Experience with ITIL methodologies.
