Interpreter – Arabic - Part-time

hirify.global provides a contract-based project environment for language interpretation and translation assignments.

What you will do

• Translate written documents and materials between English and Arabic.
• Review, proofread, and edit translations for accuracy, grammar, clarity, and consistency.
• Provide occasional phone, video, or spoken interpretation.
• Support language projects for employment, training, orientation, meetings, human resources, health services, and other operational activities.
• Complete voice recordings, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and clarify project requirements with team members.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Arabic and English, especially for written translation.
• At least 90% average total score on the interpreter/translation assessment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and basic computer and typing skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Certification in translation or interpreting.
• At least one year of translation or interpreting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of translation and interpreting best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.
