What you will do

• Create a differentiated pipeline of media campaigns based on data, customer outcomes, industry developments, and major inflection points.
• Develop and lead the US communications strategy, connecting hirify.global’s work to relevant industry shifts, news, and debates.
• Build relationships with journalists and industry voices across relevant technology, AI, and critical infrastructure conversations.
• Develop and coach a diverse spokesperson bench, including interview and speaking-opportunity preparation.
• Personally brainstorm, write, and pitch stories, contributed op-eds, reactive newsjacking commentary, and other external communications.
• Build rapid-response newsjacking processes, cross-functional storytelling partnerships, editorial standards, and impact metrics.

Requirements

• Experience in communications, public relations, or journalism with substantive ownership of media strategy and execution.
• Experience working for a high-growth technology, AI, infrastructure, or similarly complex-subject-matter company.
• Hands-on success developing stories, pitching reporters, and securing high-quality coverage in competitive media environments.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear and urgent without overstating them.
• Strong news judgment and confidence challenging senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to connect communications work to market positioning and pipeline relevance.
• Ability to build trusted journalist relationships and create genuinely useful spokesperson resources rather than thinly veiled pitches.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to develop fluency in emerging technology, technical, regulated, and sensitive subject matter.
• Ability to work with urgency and build momentum amid ambiguity and imperfect conditions.

• Existing relationships across technology, AI, and critical infrastructure media.
