Global Supply Manager, Sensing

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States. The role may involve access to export-controlled information and requires compliance with U.S. export control regulations, which may include meeting the definition of a U.S. Person where required.

What you will do

• Source vision, sensing, electromechanical, industrial, and supporting components and services against specifications, supply, quality, and cost requirements.
• Run RFQs, build should-cost models, negotiate supplier pricing, and align sourcing decisions with engineering, operations, finance, leadership, and other teams.
• Review supplier manufacturing, testing, quality, and reliability proposals using DFM principles.
• Drive validation and program execution from RFQ through mass production, including NPI and production scaling.
• Manage supplier capacity, quality, production, shipping, forecasts, POs, invoicing, onboarding, part numbers, costs, incoterms, quantities, and receipts.
• Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and other contracts while leading component strategies covering cost, multi-sourcing, vertical integration, in-house versus outsourced production, market technology, and roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement for hardware or manufacturing environments, including 2+ years of optical, camera, or other sensor-related experience.
• Experience sourcing electromechanical or industrial components and supporting products from prototype through mass production.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
• Experience running RFQs, building should-cost models, and driving cost reductions through negotiation.
• Experience managing supplier capacity, quality, and ramp during NPI and production scaling.
• Working knowledge of global supply chains, incoterms, tariffs, and logistics.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and program management skills; highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Ability to comply with applicable U.S. federal regulations, including FAR and DFARS where applicable, and with ITAR/EAR export controls and CUI data protection requirements.
