Cybercrime Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Based at the Bath, UK office with hybrid flexibility; regular weekend work is required as part of a scheduled 24/7 shift pattern.

What you will do

• Respond to cybercrime incidents and communicate cyber-threat analysis to relevant parties to help mitigate attacks.
• Classify malicious websites, social media profiles, applications, emails, and phone numbers.
• Provide clear and professional customer feedback on incidents and classifications.
• Identify innovative ways to rapidly disrupt cyber-attacks against clients.
• Suggest improvements to processes and workflows while collaborating with colleagues across teams.

Requirements

• Attention to detail, adaptability, intellectual and commercial curiosity, and a positive, solution-focused approach.
• Interest in the internet and cybercrime prevention.
• Excellent written English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to engage with people in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Aptitude for analysing and using technical information.
• Competence in handling incoming phone calls.
• Flexibility to work regular weekends within the scheduled shift pattern is essential.

Nice to have

• Some cybersecurity experience or knowledge.
• A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or another field that promotes analytical thinking.
