What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components, modifications, and structural repairs for aerospace and commercial applications.
• Create manufacturing and installation 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools, following drafting and geometric dimensioning standards.
• Perform hand calculations and engineering mathematics to validate designs, structural integrity, and safety margins.
• Prepare engineering substantiation documents and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and regulatory representatives to obtain project approvals.
• Maintain compliance with design procedures, quality standards, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of engineering experience, ideally in aerospace, aviation, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong applied mathematics and engineering hand-calculation skills for structural and mechanical analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in 3D modeling and drafting with SolidWorks and a strong understanding of ASME standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a positive, productive team member.

• AutoCAD familiarity.
