Senior AI Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize robust, scalable AI software systems for commercial PCs.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, AI applications, and system management tools.
• Monitor AI application performance, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers to implement fixes.
• Gather infrastructure requirements and lead solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration for complex products and platforms.
• Review designs for compliance with systems engineering standards, provide quality feedback, and mitigate failure risk.
• Lead multiple project teams, manage internal and outsourced development relationships, drive technology integration, and mentor less-experienced staff.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in systems engineering, computer programming, or a related field.
• Knowledge of AI workloads and inferencing, software development and engineering, scalability, debugging, and Agile methodology.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, C++, Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure, and Windows 11 internals.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.
• Work is based in Spring, Texas, United States of America.

Nice to have

• Certified Software Systems Engineer (CSSE).
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
