Customs Compliance Specialist (Logistics)

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
• Review customs declarations, identify errors and risks, and support amendments, corrections, and other post-entry activities.
• Monitor risk areas including transit discharge, export confirmation, and temporary storage.
• Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk customs cases and advise operations on compliance matters.
• Support customs compliance initiatives, process improvements, internal audits, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with operations, product teams, stakeholders, customs authorities, and other government agencies when required.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in customs operations or compliance.
• Good understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in English required; local language skills are desirable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity in customs declarations and systems.
• Ability to perform primarily seated desk work using standard office equipment.

• Degree or formal training in customs.
