Shipping Coordinator - 1st Shift

Location: Forney, TX, USA; onsite at the distribution center

Pay: $26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate daily shipments of finished goods, raw materials, special freight, and incoming RMAs.
• Prepare and verify Bills of Lading, packing slips, and other shipping documentation before release.
• Schedule carrier pickups, communicate with carriers, brokers, and 3PLs, and track inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage dock activities, driver scheduling, loading and unloading priorities, and trailer utilization.
• Maintain accurate system records and support inventory, delivery, and shipping performance reporting.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, transportation, supervisors, and DC leadership on SOP execution, process improvements, productivity, and safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution center operations; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Oracle, iPlan, or similar ERP or shipping systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with load planning and warehouse management systems such as Manhattan Scale WMS.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
