Technical Program/Project Management V (E5) (Semiconductor Optical Inspection and Metrology)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Full-time role with approximately 20% travel; relocation eligible.

Salary: $154,000–$212,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead large, complex, multi-year optical inspection and metrology product-development programs from concept through qualification, product release, and customer adoption.
• Develop program strategies, integrated roadmaps, resource plans, and execution plans aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across hardware, software, systems engineering, applications, product management, operations, supply chain, finance, suppliers, customers, and field organizations.
• Drive system integration, verification, evaluation, qualification, technology readiness, product maturity, and customer adoption.
• Manage schedule, cost, quality, investment, and risk, resolving technical, organizational, supplier, and program issues proactively.
• Provide executive visibility through program reviews, dashboards, risk assessments, recommendations, and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Significant semiconductor industry experience leading complex optical inspection, optical metrology, process-control, or related equipment-development programs.
• Proven success delivering complex technology programs from concept through customer adoption.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional organizations through significant technical and business challenges, including programs with substantial technical complexity, investment, supplier dependencies, and organizational scope.
• Expertise across hardware, software, systems integration, multiple engineering disciplines, Systems Engineering, technology readiness, lifecycle management, and product-development processes.
• Ability to evaluate alternatives and manage trade-offs involving performance, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and customer requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders with clear risks, options, recommendations, and decisions.
• Ability to lead through direct organizational responsibility and matrix influence, including leadership and development of organizational leaders and their teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
