Materials Program Manager (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop material demand forecasts and translate them into MRP inputs for production builds, fleet consumption, data collection, and other business needs.
• Own production and work-order BOMs in the ERP/MRP system, including design changes, customer configurations, substitutions, cost and tariff roll-ups, and lifecycle discrepancies.
• Generate purchasing requirements, coordinate financial reviews, track approvals, and resolve material shortages with Supply Chain and Engineering.
• Develop safety-stock and buffer strategies, monitor inventory health, and forecast fleet spare parts and consumables.
• Build and improve material-readiness dashboards, clear-to-build reports, shortage trackers, and procurement reporting.
• Maintain planning data accuracy and identify supply-chain risks and process-improvement opportunities across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of MRP, demand forecasting, BOM management, and inventory planning.
• Advanced Excel skills for analyzing, organizing, and presenting complex data sets.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to translate complex supply-chain data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, advanced manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with complex configurable BOMs and engineering change processes.
• Knowledge of international logistics, customs clearance, and tariff management.
• Experience developing inventory optimization strategies and material-readiness reporting.
