Electrical Engineer

Location: Duluth, MN; other location: Minneapolis, MN. Site visits are required as needed, with work-from-home flexibility.

What you will do

• Lead electrical system design and general consulting for projects across multiple industries.
• Perform engineering calculations and optimize building electrical systems for quality, energy efficiency, and safety.
• Perform and delegate drafting and modeling in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or Revit.
• Prepare quality-controlled engineering documents and coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Develop client relationships and deliver constructible solutions aligned with project needs.
• Mentor and train less experienced engineers and drafters; complete site visits as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in the MEP design industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering calculations, including advanced calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Nice to have

• EIT certification preferred.
