Principal Product Manager (Quality Control)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base salary: $196,000–$245,000 for Zone 1 locations (San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle Metro, New York City); $171,500–$214,500 for all other U.S. locations. The position also includes equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own product direction for the Quality Control area from customer discovery through release and post-launch learning.
• Study how lenders review closing documents and identify workflow breakdowns.
• Distinguish shared customer needs from one-off requests and make clear product decisions.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science on requirements, trade-offs, and delivery.
• Guide Implementation, Customer Success, and Sales on product decisions.
• Track post-launch results and use customer feedback and usage data to shape the roadmap; use AI for routine research, synthesis, and drafting while verifying its output.

Requirements

• Experience owning a B2B software product through discovery, delivery, and post-launch evaluation.
• Strong product judgment, including the ability to separate broad customer needs from one-off requests.
• Examples of making decisions with incomplete information and explaining the evidence behind those decisions.
• Experience working with Engineering and customer-facing teams such as Sales, Implementation, or Customer Success.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex workflows easy to discuss.
• Experience using AI in product work, including research synthesis, drafting, or routine analysis.

• Mortgage or title industry experience.
