Lead Data Engineer (iGaming)

What you will do

• Design and take a multi-tenant Data Lakehouse architecture to production.
• Build tenant data isolation across storage, catalogs, data marts, and access controls.
• Develop Kafka ingestion and stream processing for events, transactions, bets, bonuses, and partner data.
• Build dbt batch/ELT transformations and orchestrate Airflow pipelines, including new-tenant onboarding.
• Design ClickHouse serving layers and data marts for B2B analytics and BI.
• Implement monitoring, data quality, auditing, documentation, cost optimization, and query-performance improvements while contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Advanced SQL and strong Python skills.
• Experience designing data warehouses and data lakes, including multi-tenant or B2B analytics platforms with data isolation, tenant-aware models, and access segregation.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and stream processing, Apache Airflow, and analytical databases; ClickHouse is required.
• Understanding of SQL engines over a Lakehouse.
• Data modeling experience with raw, staging, and marts layers; dimensional models, SCD, incremental loads, and per-tenant partitioning.
• Understanding of row-level security, role-based models, and access auditing.
• Experience with data CI/CD, data tests, versioning, and documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of architecture and results.

Nice to have

• Experience in iGaming, betting, or gambling, with understanding of GGR, NGR, LTV, RTP, retention, and funnel metrics.
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with BI tools, self-service analytics for external clients, cloud-cost optimization under multi-tenant load, tenant onboarding, or pipeline templating.
