Director, AI Transformation & Intelligent Business Enablement

What you will do

• Own the enterprise AI transformation roadmap and prioritize use cases by business value, feasibility, and risk.
• Build and lead a federated AI Center of Excellence balancing central governance, data, and platform standards with business-unit ownership.
• Identify and quantify AI opportunities for revenue growth, margin improvement, productivity, and risk reduction.
• Develop AI governance covering model risk, data privacy, ethical use, regulatory compliance, and AI-related controls.
• Lead cross-functional pilots through enterprise-wide scale-up and establish ROI, value-realization, and KPI tracking.
• Deliver AI literacy and capability-building programs while advising leaders through organizational and cultural change.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in business or strategy transformation using technology and data capabilities, or in technology leadership; this must include 3+ years owning direct AI/ML, advanced analytics, or technical platform programs.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling an AI or data analytics Center of Excellence and/or leading enterprise-wide digital or AI transformation initiatives.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical AI capabilities into commercial and operational value.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization and in navigating cross-cultural and cross-regional stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI frameworks.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives and communicating with senior leadership and boards.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or advanced degree in computer or data science, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial B2B sectors.
• Familiarity with change management methodologies and large-scale technical capability-building programs.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar, plus modern data architecture concepts.
• Experience partnering with HR or Talent Management on workforce capability and AI-adjacent skills strategy.
