Senior Business Analyst (Data & Technology)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid working model with work from home and on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices. Client-facing work may require travel as needed.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, processes, data needs, and relevant use cases.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Bridge business stakeholders and data engineering teams so technical solutions address the underlying business needs.
• Support operational tracking tools for pharmaceutical development and CMC processes, including lead-time tracking.
• Support data enablement initiatives across technical development/CMC, supply chain, manufacturing, and regulatory areas.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, perform data quality checks, and support Agile delivery by identifying dependencies, risks, and roadblocks.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst within data, digital, or technology programmes.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, or consulting experience supporting pharmaceutical or life sciences clients.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical development processes, ideally including technical development/CMC.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams and translating business requirements into technical implementation.
• Good understanding of data concepts and ability to work effectively with Data Engineers and other technical specialists without being a hands-on engineer.
• Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements and creating functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting data-related use cases, data enablement initiatives, or enterprise data programmes.
• Familiarity with enterprise data environments, data platforms, data governance, and data quality concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate complex business processes into clear, actionable requirements.
