NOC Engineer

Location: Europe; remote work is available

hirify.global operates a financial services platform requiring reliable production infrastructure and monitoring.

What you will do

• Monitor infrastructure with Grafana, Prometheus, Icinga, and Zabbix.
• Respond to alerts and incidents, resolve issues using procedures and runbooks, and complete follow-up tasks.
• Escalate serious production incidents to DevOps and engineering teams when no procedure exists.
• Improve observability and monitoring systems, including migrations between monitoring platforms.
• Write and maintain runbooks, automate routine tasks with scripts, and collaborate with DevOps, QA, developers, and other engineering teams.
• Gradually participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Linux Engineer, System Administrator, IT Specialist, NOC Engineer with a Linux focus, or Junior DevOps Engineer with monitoring knowledge.
• Solid Linux experience as the main focus of the role.
• Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Icinga, or Zabbix.
• Troubleshooting skills and the ability to describe problems clearly and briefly.
• Willingness to learn and grow, with a responsible and transparent approach to work.
• English at B1 level.

Nice to have

• Automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or GitOps.
• Knowledge of Windows Server.
• Scripting experience, ELK stack knowledge, or Python.
