Machine Learning Engineer (Databricks) - Latam

Location: Argentina; remote within Latam

What you will do

• Orchestrate production data and machine learning pipelines on Databricks Jobs, including task dependencies and failure-mode handling.
• Configure and maintain Databricks Asset Bundles deployments across dev, QA, and production targets, including country-specific resources.
• Manage model and artifact registration, versioning, Champion/Challenger aliases, and rollback through MLflow and Unity Catalog.
• Maintain operational continuity by managing compute across workspaces, standardizing FinOps tags, and integrating AIOps and observability.
• Diagnose runtime incidents and coordinate with development squads using end-to-end product knowledge.

Requirements

• Proven experience orchestrating data and machine learning pipelines on Databricks, including Jobs, Workflows, and cluster policies.
• Solid CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, gitflow, and pull requests.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Experience applying code quality standards with black, isort, and mypy.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with Delta and Unity Catalog.
