Corporate Attorney (Global Employment Law)

Location: Cork, Ireland; hybrid work with some in-office and/or in-person expectations

What you will do

• Provide practical legal advice on global employment matters, including hiring, termination, workplace policies, investigations, leave, contingent labor, and commissions.
• Manage employment disputes involving litigation, arbitration, and government agency investigations.
• Draft and review employment contracts, separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, and related documents.
• Partner with HR, business leaders, and stakeholders on regional and global employment strategies, policies, and programs.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the technology industry and global workforce.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions through employment-law risk assessment and due diligence; coordinate external counsel and legal resources.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of professional legal experience focused on employment law, including substantial international in-house counsel experience in the technology industry.
• Deep understanding of global employment law frameworks and cross-border compliance.
• Authorization to practice law in Ireland.
• Experience supporting multinational corporations and working with diverse teams across countries and time zones.
• Excellent issue-spotting, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
