Senior Vehicle Damage & Condition Expert (Automotive)

Location: Global – Remote; approximately 10 hours per week with flexible working hours, including weekends.

Salary: $20–$40 per hour.

What you will do

• Review vehicle evidence, including damage photographs, repair estimates, condition reports, and collision footage.
• Prepare detailed vehicle damage estimates and condition assessments.
• Conduct remote accident quality audits and analyze damage causation.
• Evaluate and grade vehicle conditions against fleet, auction, and OEM inspection standards.
• Document clear findings and technical justifications while collaborating with project teams to maintain consistency and quality.
• Follow current industry practices and project guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in vehicle damage appraisal, automotive claims, collision repair assessment, or fleet/auction inspection.
• Strong expertise in vehicle damage estimation, inspection, and accident quality auditing.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote environment.

Nice to have

• Background as an auto damage appraiser, ACTAR-certified reconstructionist, OEM auditor, or fleet/auction inspector.
• State adjuster license, I-CAR certification, or ACTAR certification.
