Senior QA Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus; hybrid model with 3 days from the office and 2 days from home, working 09:00–17:00

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for web-based trading platforms and internal tooling.
• Develop functional, regression, performance, security, cross-browser, and cross-device test coverage, including mobile testing through BrowserStack.
• Design load and stress testing suites with k6 and JMeter, validate peak-traffic behavior, and define performance benchmarks for release sign-off.
• Integrate automated testing into AWS staging and PreProd environments and CI/CD pipelines with development, Cloud, and DevOps teams.
• Perform API testing with Postman, automated monitor collections, and Slack-integrated alerting; support defect traceability and documented approval gates.
• Build AI-assisted QA workflows and automation agents using n8n, Claude, and OpenAI APIs for test generation, ticket triage, regression selection, and report summarization.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright for scalable, reliable end-to-end web automation, including cross-browser and cross-device testing with BrowserStack.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions, and integration of automated web tests into cloud-based deployment pipelines.
• Solid experience with API testing in Postman, automated monitor collections, and performance/load testing with k6, including realistic load scenarios and result interpretation.
• Experience with test management platforms, preferably QMetry for Jira, including test plans, cycle management, execution tracking, and defect traceability reporting.
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI and LLM-based tools such as Claude and OpenAI into QA workflows, including automation agents and AI-assisted testing pipelines.
• At least 5 years of QA experience, including at least 2 years in a senior automation engineering role and significant exposure to complex, high-availability platforms in regulated or financial services environments.
• Proven ability to deliver quality automation solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, self-management, attention to detail, and continuous improvement skills.

• Experience in financial services, forex, or CFD trading platforms.
