DevOps Engineer/SRE (Cloud IaaS)

What you will do

• Deploy and operate Linux infrastructure supporting the Edge Cloud IaaS platform across 210+ edge locations and 50+ cloud regions.
• Build and improve infrastructure provisioning, lifecycle management, automation, and deployment workflows using GitLab CI, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Plan and execute maintenance with minimal customer impact while improving platform reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, networking, virtualization, storage, and hardware layers.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and platform engineering teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of production experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong Linux administration skills and experience operating production infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack.
• Experience with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with KVM, Libvirt, and QEMU virtualization systems.
• Ability to write Python and Bash scripts for operational automation.
• Comfort working in production and participating in an on-call rotation, with curiosity about diagnosing systems down to the hardware layer.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ceph or other distributed storage systems.
• Experience with Puppet.
• Experience configuring and tuning Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, or similar monitoring and alerting stacks.
• Experience with bare-metal provisioning tools such as Ironic, PXE, or MAAS.
• Experience in a hosting or cloud service provider environment.
