Frontend Developer (Angular)

What you will do

• Build front-end solutions and user interfaces for USPTO Patent Center modules.
• Translate product requirements and business objectives into complete interfaces with Product Managers and UX designers.
• Design Angular wireframes and responsive layouts using Bootstrap, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.
• Implement TypeScript features, RxJS asynchronous flows, Angular reactive forms, and state management.
• Participate in design meetings, understand complex architectures and integrations, and coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, accessibility checks, and performance troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field experience.
• 5+ years of experience; mid-level profile.
• Fluency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, including Angular 18+, Promises, async/await, closures, event loops, this binding, generics, and utility types.
• Understanding of semantic HTML, the DOM API, browser rendering, responsive layouts, Flexbox, CSS Grid, and CSS Container Queries.
• Proficiency with Angular rendering lifecycles and state management.
• Ability to implement semantic HTML, WAI-ARIA, keyboard focus management, and accessible custom controls.
• Knowledge of XSS and CSRF prevention and secure authentication patterns.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for change detection, RxJS, routing, forms, performance, builds, and API issues.
• Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing using tools such as Jest or Vitest, with a focus on testing behavior rather than implementation details.
• Ability to decompose complex UI problems, define API interfaces, and plan data models before coding.
• Must obtain Public Trust.

Nice to have

• Backend knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Node.
• Understanding of AWS architecture and AI technologies.
