TL;DR
Community Manager (Discord): Running daily Discord community operations across engagement, moderation, events, creator workflows, and ambassador programs with an accent on safety, organization, and structured feedback. Focus on enforcing community guidelines, resolving flagged content, processing operational queues, and tracking sentiment, bugs, and risks.

Location: Remote from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, or Peru. Working hours are 15:00–00:00 CET, with Sundays and Mondays off.

What you will do

  • Engage with community members and keep Discord conversations active, welcoming, and organized.
  • Moderate Discord channels, enforce rules, and manage flagged content, reports, warnings, timeouts, and bans.
  • Run or support events, tournaments, streams, and Discord takeovers.
  • Process ambassador applications and onboarding, coordinate activations, and support regional community needs.
  • Process creator tickets and requests through shared inboxes and application servers.
  • Review winner submissions, deliver rewards, track highlights, bugs, sentiment, and risks, and contribute to daily reporting.

Requirements

  • Brazilian Portuguese at C1 minimum and English at B2 minimum.
  • Located in one of the specified eligible countries: Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, or Peru.
  • Previous online community management experience, ideally on Discord.
  • Previous moderation experience and the ability to enforce guidelines consistently.
  • Calm, fair, and clear conflict de-escalation skills.
  • Strong organization and accuracy when processing tickets, reports, and rewards.
  • Internet speed of at least 15 Mb/s download and 15 Mb/s upload, with international latency below 120 ms.
  • At least 8 GB RAM; Windows 11 except S Mode, or macOS 13.0 or newer.
  • CPU Mark of at least 9220, with an 8th Gen Intel processor or newer, or a 2nd Gen Ryzen processor or newer; GPU G3D Rating of at least 4806.
  • A smartphone for two-factor authentication running Android 10 or newer, or iOS 16 or newer.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting creator or ambassador programs.
  • Experience running events or supporting livestreams.
  • Experience handling operational queues related to brand protection or policy enforcement.
