Accounts Executive (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Salary: MYR 48,000–50,880 yearly

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable functions, corporate bank accounts, general ledger activities, and month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Verify AP invoices and enter invoices and payments accurately in Oracle.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain and provide required information and statements of account.
• Create timely and accurate supplier and third-party bank payments.
• Process credit card expenses end to end and complete aging reports, liability trackers, and other required reporting.
• Support ad hoc finance tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or Accounts Payable.
• Experience managing month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different countries and time zones.
• Must be legally authorised to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship is not available.
