Aircraft Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid work model when possible. Occasional business travel is required. NATO/National security clearance is required for related work.

What you will do

• Define, design, implement, integrate, test, verify, and ensure compliance of product security requirements.
• Lead security architecture and design for products across their full lifecycle, from research and development through operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Conduct threat, vulnerability, and security risk assessments using MAGERIT, PILAR, NIST, EBIOS, and EUROCAE methodologies.
• Define security controls, decompose high-level designs into detailed subsystem and component designs, and promote security by design.
• Ensure compliance with applicable national and international security regulations and develop Security Operating Procedures.
• Provide security consultancy, collaborate with customers and engineering stakeholders, participate in international working groups, and act as the product security focal point.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of experience in Information Security, Aircraft Systems design and development, and/or Aircraft Safety.
• Experience with threat and risk analysis methods and tools, including MAGERIT, PILAR, NIST, EBIOS, and EUROCAE ED203A.
• Strong knowledge and experience in systems and application security architecture design.
• Strong knowledge of network and application security architecture and operating systems.
• Knowledge of securing systems, including application and infrastructure security and system hardening.
• Experience with functional security testing and penetration/refutation testing.
• Ability to adapt security concepts to new regulations, methods, and aircraft systems environments.
• Ability to write clear and consumable security documentation; advanced English; ability to work autonomously and in international teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, analytical, customer-focus, and teamwork skills, with a proactive and innovative mindset.

Nice to have

• Good command of French or German.
