Lead Engineer EI&C (Pulp Mill Automation)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement advanced process control solutions for pulp mill cooking processes.
• Program and configure DCS applications and control strategies.
• Participate in automation system design, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Analyze process performance and identify opportunities to improve optimization, stability, quality, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with process engineers, project managers, customers, process experts, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and support customer service, upgrades, and optimization projects.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
• Several years of experience with industrial automation systems and process control.
• Experience with DCS programming and control application development.
• Knowledge of Advanced Process Control principles and implementation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in international project teams.
• Strong communication skills in English required.
• Curious, solution-oriented approach with experience combining automation, programming, and process engineering.
• Background checks and alcohol/drug testing are required for all employees.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cooking, fiberline, or continuous process industries.
