BusinessObjects Administrator (Azure)

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship required, with eligibility for a minimum Public Trust clearance

What you will do

• Administer and maintain the SAP BusinessObjects BI platform across development, QA, and production environments, including configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor BusinessObjects services, job servers, and reporting workloads to support high availability, performance, and system stability.
• Manage Azure virtual machines hosting BusinessObjects and troubleshoot issues across BusinessObjects components, databases, and operating-system layers.
• Develop scripts and automation tools, support backup and recovery procedures, and improve administrative efficiency.
• Conduct security audits, apply security updates, maintain technical documentation, and resolve support tickets.
• Estimate project resources, communicate system status and changes, and collaborate with IT, data, development, design, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain at least a Public Trust clearance.
• Five years of relevant technical or analytical experience in financial operations, business management, computer science, or a related field.
• A bachelor's degree in financial operations, business management, computer science, or a related field; a related master's degree may substitute for two years of required experience.
• Three to five years of experience administering SAP BusinessObjects in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting BusinessObjects in cloud-hosted environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Experience troubleshooting system administration issues, optimizing performance, and supporting backup and recovery procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebFOCUS, Tableau, Power BI, Qualtrics, or other BI and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for report customization or dashboard styling, including two years of related coding experience.
• Prior experience with Azure-hosted BusinessObjects environments.
• Basic database management and SQL query knowledge.
• Experience building automation frameworks for environment deployment or maintenance.
• SAP BusinessObjects or Microsoft Azure certifications.
