Trade Advisory Manager (Customs)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Customs Trade Advisors.
• Provide legal analysis and written advice on classification, valuation, country of origin, and free trade agreements.
• Develop trade compliance strategies that mitigate risk and optimize client supply chains.
• Collaborate with legal, product, sales, and operations teams to integrate trade advisory into client solutions.
• Represent hirify.global as a customs subject matter expert with clients and industry stakeholders.
• Improve advisory processes and knowledge sharing within the Customs department.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customs and international trade advisory, focused on legal analysis and compliance.
• Active U.S. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification.
• Experience managing and developing a team of trade professionals.
• Expertise in U.S. import/export regulations, including HTS classification, valuation, country of origin, and free trade agreements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice.
• A compliance-first attitude in a heavily regulated industry.
