Personnel Security Lead

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States. U.S. citizenship is required. The role requires an active U.S. Government security clearance; candidates without the required clearance are not eligible. Current/active Top Secret clearance and willingness to obtain SCI access with a Counterintelligence polygraph are required.

Base pay in Colorado: $98,000.00–$130,000.00–$143,000.00 annually.

What you will do

• Manage and oversee Personnel Security for collateral and SCI programs.
• Interpret and implement government security requirements for classified and commercial contracts.
• Coordinate with DoD and Intelligence Community counterparts to maintain policy, corporate, and government compliance.
• Improve Personnel Security Program Office processes, protocols, and procedures.
• Initiate, maintain, and terminate personnel security clearances in DISS, NBIS, SWFT, Scattered Castles, and TALON/SCT.
• Review and process personnel security paperwork, participate in IC Security Assessments, and mentor junior teammates.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance is required, with willingness to obtain SCI access and a Counterintelligence polygraph.
• Knowledge of national security policies, including ICDs, NISPOM, Executive Orders, CFR, and SEADs.
• At least eight years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or six years of experience with a master’s degree; four additional years of work experience may substitute for a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Personnel Security processes and leading a small team.
• Experience processing clearances or access for national customers, NGA, and DoD.
