Full Stack Developer (AI)

Location: New York City, NY; hybrid schedule with 3 in-office days per week. Preference for NYC-based candidates or candidates open to relocation.

Salary: $200K–$275K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable full-stack solutions for the construction management platform.
• Build responsive interfaces with React and TypeScript across devices and platforms.
• Develop and optimize server-side components with Node.js and design efficient Postgres data storage and retrieval.
• Contribute to system architecture, technology decisions, scalability, and integrations.
• Own technically challenging cross-functional projects, collaborate with product managers and designers, and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, mentor developers, and evaluate emerging tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• Extensive professional full-stack development experience, ideally primarily in startups.
• Extensive experience with the stated technology stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Experience owning technically challenging and demanding cross-functional projects.
• Ability to identify valuable projects, communicate their strategy, and execute autonomously.
• Strong attention to important details and commitment to excellence.
• Customer-first mindset and interest in speaking with customers to ensure the product meets their needs.
• Habit of introspection and understanding the factors contributing to past success.
