Associate, Technology, Risk and Controls (Cybersecurity)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement with 18 remote workdays per quarter subject to manager approval

Base salary: $95,000–$100,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and other total rewards.

What you will do

• Develop automation for Identity Governance processes supporting external audits and internal governance controls.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulations and industry guidelines.
• Lead risk assessments and audits, identify threats and vulnerabilities, and support mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk teams to integrate cybersecurity initiatives.
• Monitor and report cybersecurity program effectiveness through KPIs and other metrics.
• Track cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory requirements; support updates and manage relationships with auditors and regulators.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrable experience in the financial services industry and understanding of its security challenges and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to learn new skills and apply them to automation projects.
• Ability to support robust cybersecurity policies and procedures aligned with industry guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Clear communication of cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical collaborators.
• Proactive approach to monitoring cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other collaborators.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
• CISM certification required within 1 year of employment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, use data to support business decisions, and report on metrics.
