Cybersecurity Analyst - Tiger Team (Cybersecurity)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; hybrid work environment with four days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Execute high-priority cybersecurity activities, remediation work, strategic initiatives, and related deliverables within established timelines.
• Collaborate across the cybersecurity organization to understand challenges, assess improvement opportunities, and advance initiatives.
• Evaluate processes, controls, and operational practices to develop remediation and improvement recommendations.
• Research cybersecurity topics, industry practices, and potential solutions to inform implementation approaches.
• Prepare analyses, recommendations, documentation, presentations, and other governance deliverables.
• Support approved process improvements and remediation activities that strengthen cybersecurity governance, operational effectiveness, and risk management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, governance, risk management, security controls, and operational security practices.
• High-level understanding of technology infrastructure, security concepts, and platforms.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, collaboration, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate cybersecurity topics to technical and non-technical audiences and work effectively with changing priorities.
• Demonstrated success in project management or structured initiative execution, including managing priorities, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines.
• Minimum of 1–5 years of experience in a large and complex business environment is preferred, including a successful track record working directly with senior-level management.
• At least one year of experience in one or more relevant domains is preferred, including access control, telecom and network security, cybersecurity governance, risk management, software development security, cryptography, security architecture and design, operational security, business continuity and disaster recovery, legal regulations, investigations and compliance, physical security, IT or security audit, or IT/security compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with UML design tools.
• Experience with SSH, serial connections, and the TMSH command-line interface for alternate management methods.
• Experience with Visio and Microsoft Office documentation tools.
• Experience with network and VLAN segmentation.
• Experience with technical writing.
