Compliance Engineer - AI & Hyperscale Hardware Manufacturing (AI)

What you will do

• Validate and prepare products for product-safety, EMC, regulatory, and certification requirements, including UL/IEC 62368-1, FCC, ICES, and CE.
• Partner with hardware design teams throughout the product lifecycle to obtain safety and regulatory certifications.
• Prepare global certification applications and resolve issues in ongoing compliance efforts.
• Verify that products shipped from manufacturing facilities and modifications to existing designs comply with applicable standards and certifications.
• Track revisions to standards and certification requirements and maintain compliance through product end of life.
• Support certificate factory audits, follow-up services, and inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience in a regulatory, certification, compliance laboratory, or product-development environment.
• Experience with global regulatory certification requirements and processes across North America, Asia, and Europe.
• Knowledge of components and materials used in computer servers, AC and DC power-delivery systems, and electrical and mechanical manufacturing environments.
• Project-management experience, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with third-party laboratories, customers, engineering, business, and test teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ownership of compliance requirements and regulatory maintenance from product design through end of life.
• Ability to establish tasks, determine resources, plan actions, and consistently drive results.
• Some positions may require U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain an export-control license or license exception.
