Salary: $97,700–$211,400 depending on location; the Rockville, MD range is $112,300–$202,500.

What you will do

• Resolve non-complex enforcement matters through risk-based legal assessment, evidence review, legal analysis, and effective advocacy.
• Recommend charges, sanctions, and fair outcomes consistent with hirify.global priorities and Principal Considerations.
• Negotiate settlements and draft clear settlement documents describing the facts, charges, legal basis, and sanctions.
• Monitor investigations, develop the factual record with investigative staff, identify evidence gaps, and provide legal advice.
• Prepare cases for litigation, including exhibits and witness outlines, and conduct non-complex witness examinations.
• Manage priorities, timelines, deadlines, written work product, internal discussions, and escalation of ambiguous or high-risk issues.

Requirements

• Law degree and appropriate licensure to practice law in all applicable jurisdictions.
• Minimum of six years of relevant legal experience in a regulatory or legal environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication, litigation, and interpersonal skills.
• hirify.global Securities Industry Essentials certification or an acceptable industry-equivalent certification required upon hire or within 16 months of the assigned SIE training cohort start date.
• Ability to collaborate with investigative and legal staff, assess evidence objectively, and resolve non-complex matters with supervision.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with defined in-person presence; work outside business hours and overnight travel may be required.
